The question many White Card students ask themselves is “once I finish the course, how long does it take to receive my White Card?”
Through our website there are 2 options available,
- The standard service option which is included in the price of the white card, usually takes 2-3 business days through Australia Post to be delivered. We process your White Card as soon as possible, so if all your documents are in order (ID and signed declaration), you should receive your White Card within a week.
- The second option is Priority Service which costs an additional $12. With this option we will post your White Card within 1 to 2 business days in an express post envelope.
In cases of emergencies when you need your White Card by the next day, you can use your Statement of Attainment as proof of having completed the course until you receive your actual White Card.
The Statement of Attainment (SOA) is available for download immediately after you successfully complete the course, pass your assessments and send us your personal details and Unique Student Identifier (USI).
Once downloaded, you can print the Statement of Attainment and present it to your employer in Victoria, Queensland or the Northern Territory. In these states, employers are obliged to accept the SOA as proof of having completed the course. You can work for up to 60 days under your SOA, until your White Card arrives.
If you do not live in one of these states, it is up to the employer to decide whether the SOA is acceptable evidence of having completed the course.
In cases where the employer may be unsure, they can phone us directly to verify that you have successfully completed the course and if your card has been processed, we can supply the White Card number. You can also call us on 1300 886 092 if you would like a scanned copy of your White Card, before it is posted.
